INTRODUCTION

This is a club for anyone who is or wants to become a mangaka. A Mangaka is an artist who creates Manga (Japanese Comic Books) Whether that is a professional, or amateur! This club is still very much under development!!!

The site aims to bring together as many Manga-kas as possible to help and support each other.

CLUB FEATURES

The Manga Co-Operative
This is an all new concept that is for the members to develop their own Manga by each adding a page to the story! I am not sure how it will turn out, but i guess time will tell!

Requests
This is going to become a regular feature of the club, it is a way for authors to find artists to make a comic/manga. I hope to keep this updated so please let me know once you have found an artist (either through this or somewhere else):

Tutorials
The Club is looking for more tutorials! Please make as many tutorials on as many topics as you can! I may also create some contests to encourage tutorial submissions. Remember to submit anything just send me a link to the full view! Also if you see any good tutorials out there on the dAsphere, please ask them if they are willing to have it linked from here!

RULES

As with most clubs the rules are simple and obvious:

1 - TO JOIN SEND A NOTE!!! NO COMMENTS ASKING TO JOIN. I am not even gonna bother responding to questions asking how to join because if you are that stupid or lazy, you aren't worthy of joining. That may be harsh but frankly is it that hard to read something being expressed in block capitals? If you're accepted into the club, you'll receive a welcome note from us. Please do not reply to it unless you have a question.

2 - SPREAD THE WORD! ALL MEMBERS PLEASE ADD US TO THEIR DEVWATCH (INCLUDING JOURNAL), so that you are informed of contests, tutorials and the like, I will try not to make any uneccessary journal alterations to keep your message center as uncluttered as possible! I would also be grateful if members could add us to signatures/user pages, but it isn't compulsory.

3 - PLAY NICE. I want this to be a nurturing community of like minded artists. Any complaints (which can be sent by notes) will, if found to be accurate result in you losing your position as a member of the club FOREVER.

4 - ENJOY! all artwork submissions are welcomed but no favs will be added to the site for simplicity. And some competitions may be organized later on.

Full Membership Status - Subscription
This is basically a beg for money, I don't like to do it, but I don't even have enough money to sign up my own account. It came about as a result of a discussion that ~Miki-Mizuki-chan and I had about the club and possible improvements. Why do I feel the club needs to become a paid account? well there are a few reasons:

It allows us to have a forum for discussing techniques and tutorials.
A shout box allowing us to promote our works in progress and newly completed.
It allows me to create polls which will hopefully make the club more democratic. (Would have a poll on whether you think this club should subscribe... but we aren't subscribed!)
A Shout board allowing me to promote past competition winers and of course the kind account donator.

$29.95 - 12 Months

Frankly this is not urgent, but I would like to get this club up to full member status eventually!
